Vehicles are to be arranged on demand/indent basis within stipulated time, including urgent/ emergency requirements. The contractor shall ensure timely delivery without delay, safety and security of stores during transit. Proper covering, lashing and protection of cargo. All statutory requirements such as valid vehicle documents, driver license, permits and insurance are to be complied with. Consignments Note (LR) and proof of delivery (POD) are to be submitted along with invoice for each movement. The contractor shall be responsible for any loss/damage during transit and liable for compensations as per contract terms. Rate shall be as per approval Rate Contract (per Km basis) including all charges. Participating firm shall have a functional office in Kerala to ensure effective coordination and timely execution of the Rate Contract. The contract shall remain valid for the approved period and may be extended based on performance. Loading, Unloading and safe handling of consignments. Door-to-door transportation and timely delivery. Delay in delivery beyond the time schedule (post completion of grace period) will attract penalty of 0.5% of the total freight amount per day, not exceeding 10% of the value of the contract. If the contractor fails to adhere to the above schedules of running time for more than 03 instances, the firm may be debarred/blacklisted from IN. Container truck, Open trailer, Semi low bed trailer
